## Abstract A new method for efficiently processing MRS data acquired with phasedβarray coils is presented. The method consists of performing phase compensation (i.e., redefining the signal phase relative to a common reference) of the signals in the time domain prior to combining the signals. The r

β¦ Synopsis
The effect of a finite-distance signal source on the performance of an Applebaum array has been removed by applying the automatic focusing technique (AFT). However, this technique requires a considerable amount of data acquisition and processing. It is shown in this article that the performance of the AFT is maintained when the scanned frequencies are simultaneously sent in one signal. As a result, this novel procedure provides the AFT with additional capabilities while removing its drawbacks.

## Abstract Realβtime ultrasound is a dynamic imaging technique that allows in utero orientation to the fetus. It permits rapid and efficient examination of fetal anatomy and provides a dynamic assessment of fetal wellβbeing. The energy dissipation can be comparable to that in conventional ultrason
