Abstract

Interaction of three waves in a beamโ€plasma system in a circular cylindrical waveguide is studied. The dispersion relation and the axial growth rate have been obtained.

A systematic investigation of spectra of multiply ionized carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen from a Z-pinch plasma interacting with a cold gas is presented. A possibility of the charge-exchange process between high-and low-charged (or neutral) ions being responsible for the observed inversion of level pop
