## Abstract Application of novel bowl‐type and dendrimer‐type steric protection groups to the first synthesis of stable aromatic __S__‐nitrosothiols is described. These compounds showed remarkable thermal stability whereas they easily reacted with appropriate reagents. X‐ray crystallographic analys
