✦ Synopsis

This paper shows that thin-layer chromatographic methods can be successfully applied to the analysis of a variety of biological fluids provided that adequate prctreatment is applied so as to remove interfering peptides, It also demonstrates how amino acid metabolism can be studied directly by the determination of amino acid excretion and of true "urea clearance" by thin-layer chromatography.
