✦ Synopsis

Thermodynamic

stability constants of the 1: 1 MgZt complex with phthalate ion at five different temperatures determined by the potentiometric method are reported and AC, AH and AS for complex formation are calculated. The results are compared with similar data available on association of the malonate ion with Mg'+.
