โœฆ Synopsis

Thermodynamic properties of ZrTe and Zr Te have been measured by means of 1.843 5 4 solution calorimetry, drop calorimetry, and adiabatic calorimetry. The thermodynamic functions for both compounds have been calculated. For ZrTe the following results 1.843 T . y1 T y 1 ลฝ . 314500 TrK y 66257.8. The results of the measurements on ZrTe are compared 1.843 with previously reported measurements on ZrTe .

The heat capacity of ammonium hexabromotellurate (NH4)2TeBr6 was measured at temperatures from T = 5 K to T = 345 K by adiabatic calorimetry. Two l-shaped transitions were present, one at T = (193.25 2 0.05) K, with DtrsSยฐm = (1.145 2 0.010)โ€ขR, and another at T = (212.2 2 0.2) K, with DtrsSยฐm = (0.1

Hydrothermal reaction of Zr(OPr) 4 with H 3 PO 4 in the presence of ethylene diamine and HF yields three crystalline phases; the 1-D [enH 2 ][Zr(HPO 4 ) 3 ], 1, which can grow as needles over 1 mm in length, the 2-D [enH 2 ] 0.5 [Zr(PO 4 )(HPO 4 )], 2, which is found as thin plates, and the previous
