The I B 2 (lieu+) state of CS2 at 210 nm was studied using jet-cooled laser-induced fluorescence and dispersed spectra. The lifetime of the IB2(I]~+ ) state at 210 nm was deduced from the transition linewidth to be 4.4 ps. Hot bands of photofragment CS (A q-l,-X ~E + ) transitions up to v" = 6 were
