Abstract

Various kinetic parameters of the thermal dehydration reaction of metal complexes of salicylic acid with Fe (II), Zn (II), and VO (II) have been evaluated using Horowitz and Metzger and Fuoss methods. Observed kinetic parameters indicate the first order reaction. The activation energy of the thermal dehydration decreases in the order ‐ VO > Zn > Fe.
