β¦ Synopsis
This paper deals with the analysis of the steady state laminar thermal boundary layer in liquid metals with variable thermal conductivity. For a general class ofinviscid flows specified by the power law distribution, explicit closed form analytical solutions are given for temperature distributions using regular perturbation technique and they are compared with the available exact numerical solutions and found to be in good agreement.
