Powders of Fel0ll\_~V x (l 1 4 x ~< 74) with a disordered b.c.c, structure were prepared by ball milling, using a mixture of elemental Fe and V powders and the o phase alloy as starting powders. The milling process was monitored by measuring changes in magnetization and X-ray diffraction spectrum. T

The flux pinning mechanism of YBaCuO superconductors produced using a melt process was investigated by measuring the magnetic field dependence of transport critical current densities (Jc) at 77 K. Superconductors produced by the melt process had high transport Jc values and the magnetic field depend
