β¦ Synopsis
A theory is presented that describes the time dependence bP scattering off an &omic or molecti "re~rznce" using tunabli: dye laser pulses. The main conclusion is that theie is n6,e'xponeatially deaying component which depends upon the frequency difference between the exciting pulse and the resonance. In t$e Limit of extremely narrcwbanded excitation, all time resolution is lost, and the usual resonance scattering intensity formulas are obtained. In -the opposite Limit, whe;e the excitation is broadrbanded, formu& descrioing fluorescence dec*ly emerge The time evolution for the case of more than a single resonance can be obtained numerically, but an analytica(expre-ssion is possible for the steady state scattetig amplitude from two resonances, from which exactresonznce F&man formulas can be found.

The theory for the application of spectrally tailored ("two colorΓ) noisy light in an interferometric coherent Raman scattering (CRS) experiment called I(2)CRS(3c) is presented. The theory is concerned with the purely resonant contribution to the intensity level I(2)CRS(3c) signal. The tailored beam
A time-resolved phase contrast magnetic resonance angiography technique is described. This technique provides a series of angiograms obtained at different phases of the cardiac cycle. Such a series of angiograms can be used to evaluate blood flow dynamics. For example, turbulent flow in the regions
