Theoretical predictions for the spin-echo amplitude attenuation in a field-gradient NMR experiment in a porous medium are presented for both continuous and pulsed spectroscopy. The diffusion is modelled by a random walk process on a fractal network and should correspond to observations in well-characterised real materials.

Pulsed-field gradient diffusion has been used to study the binding of two tachykinin peptides, [Tyr 8 ]-substance P (SP) and [Tyr 0 ]-neurokinin A (NKA) to two membrane-mimicking micelles, dodecylphosphocholine, and sodium dodecylsulfate. The structure of these peptides bound to the micelles have al
