✦ Synopsis
Tile (C)O@)-( 000) and (OlO)-(000) bands of an electronic system of sutphur dioxide near 2350 .&and 2325 a hwc been rota tional!y nnnlyzed as ' tJ2 +-I AI (A typ e) transitions. Previous analyses of bands in this region in terms of two efcct:onic transitions are not confirmed: all bands in the wavelength rang_ p 2300-2450
Ahave rhe same polarization and the same eiecrronic assignment.
