The analysis by capillary GC and GC-MS of the volatile oil of Culuminthu nepetu (L.) Savi subsp. glandulosa (Req.) P.W. Ball, endemic to Greece, showed the presence of at least 46 components, of which 31 were identified, corresponding to 98% of the total. The major components were found to be the two diastereoisomers of piperitone oxide (55%) and P-bisabolene (8.5%).
