β¦ Synopsis
The angiographic findings in eight patients with soft tissue leiomyosarcoma of the extremities are presented. All tumours were hypervascular. Vascular compression was seen in four tumours and intravenous tumour growth could be demonstrated in three. These findings are of great value in the planning of surgical treatment. The importance of securing an optimal venous phase of the examination is emphasized.
