Results are reported from an investigation of the effect of pressure on the superconducting transition temperature T~ in the two CeTaB z (T = Ru, Os) compounds. In CeOs2B 2, the ambient pressure T c of 3.34 K is depressed linearly by pressure up to 65kbar with dTc/dp=-7mK/kbar. In contrast, the isoe

Bulk samples of composition Lut\_xMxBa2Cu3OT\_s (M=Ce, Pr and Tb) are examined with respect to the formation of 1-2-3 phase and the superconducting properties. Samples with M=Pr and Tb form a superconducting 1-2-3 phase for values of x<0.6. We observe that in case of M-: Tb, the zero-resistance tran
