## Abstract A four‐channel preparative HPLC was employed to isolate and purify compounds from licorice extract. Two separation modes, RP and hydrophilic interaction LC (HILIC), were used in preparative HPLC. HILIC mode was adopted to resolve the purification of the compounds with similar hydrophobi

✦ Synopsis
A reverse phase HPLC (RP-HPLC) method for analysis of recombinant factor Vlla (rFVlla) has been developed. The method discriminates between different forms of recombinant FVll (rFVII). To obtain separation of these closely related molecules the method has been optimized with respect to gradient profile and temperature. The method has been used for optimization of purification processes and for kinetic studies. Evidence for autolytic cleavage was obtained.

The quantity of the SDS-unextractable protein fraction (Fi) is known to be correlated with the baking performance. In this study, by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC), we followed the evolution of the Fi composition. The percentage of each high molecular weight glutenin
Two important issues in the downstream processing of plasmids for gene therapy are the stability of plasmids in the process streams, and the presence of contaminating host RNA. Results with a 4.8-kb plasmid harbored in a non-nuclease-deficient strain of Escherichia coli show that, in spite of the ha
