✦ Synopsis

This paper discusses the usc of oxygen in selected gasification processes. It appears that the increases obtained in ellleieney and output do not alone justify the production of oxygen, and interest in its usc depends more upon it faeilitnting the gasification of low grade fuels and the introduction of other features such as pressure operation.
