## Abstract Paramagnetic nickel(II) complexes which are used as commercial photostabilizers of polyolefins are shown in laser photolysis studies to quench the triplet state of benzophenone in dilute benzene solution. The efficiency of quenching observed is less than that of diamagnetic square‐plana
