Thirteen derivatives of pyrimidine were prepared as potential medicinal agents by the reaction of 2amino-4-chloro-6-methylpyrimidine with primary and secondary amines in the absence of a solvent. Six of the derivatives are piperazinylpyrimidines. The compounds prepared in this work may prove to be e
