β¦ Synopsis
The synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of LiLn(allyl),, dioxane (Ln = Ce, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy) from LnCls and Sn(allyl)4 are described.
The dynamic behaviour of LiSm(allyl), at high and low temperatures was studied and activation parameters were determined. An unusually pronounced broadening of line-width was observed at low temperature for LiNd(allylk and LiCe(ally& complexes.

## Abstract Three new lanthanide selenidoantimonates [Ln(en)~4~(SbSe~4~)] [Ln = La (1), Nd (2)] and [Sm(en)~4~]SbSe~4~Β·0.5en (3) (en = ethylenediamine) were first synthesized by treating LnCl~3~, Sb, and Se in a stoichiometric ratio with en under mild solvothermal conditions. Compounds 1 and 2 are
