✦ Synopsis
Symmetrically tetrasubstituted metal-free phthalocyanine 6 with four 14-membered dioxadithia macrocycles each of which is attached to a 15-membered crown ether has been prepared in a multi-step reaction sequence. The new compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1 H and 13 C NMR, UV-vis and MS spectral data.
