✦ Synopsis
An organically templated manganese phosphate, Mn 6 (H 2 O) 2 (HPO 4 ) 4 (PO4) 2 ' C 4 N 2 H 12 ' H 2 O, has been synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by synchrotron powder X-ray di4raction, thermogravimetric analysis, and magnetic measurements. The compound is structurally closely related to both a magnesium phosphate and an iron phosphate, and crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 (No. 2) with a ؍ 12.81926(12) A > ,

## Abstract A chlorozincophosphate with the composition Zn(HPO~4~)Cl·[C~6~H~14~N] has been synthesised under mild conditions in water medium in presence of 4‐methylpiperidine as organic template. The structure was determinated by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. The unit cell is orthorhombic (spac
