Abstract
The effect of external gammaβ and internal beta βirradiation on the aqueous solutions of unlabelled and ^3^H labelled preparations of thymidine and uridine was investigated within the concentration range 10^β4^ β 2.10^β2^M. From these investigations corresponding D/50 and G~i~(βM) values of labelled and unlabelled preparations obtained in very dilute solutions (up to 5.10^3^ β 10^β2^M) were discussed.

The extinction coefficients and the decay kinetics of I; and (SCN); have been characterized over the 15-90Β°C-temperature range. The extinction coefficients of I; at 385 and 725 nm were determined to be 10,000 and 2560M-' cm-', respectively, based on the extinction coefficient of (SCN); at 475 nm bei
