✦ Synopsis


The standard molar enthalpies of solution of (\mathrm{BaZrO}{3}(\mathrm{~s})) and (\mathrm{SrZrO}{3}) (s) have been measured in (\left(0.5 \mathrm{~mol} \cdot \mathrm{dm}^{-3} \mathrm{HF}+6.4 \mathrm{~mol} \cdot \mathrm{dm}^{-3} \mathrm{HNO}{3}\right)(\mathrm{aq})). From the results the standard molar enthalpies of formation of (\mathrm{BaZrO}{3}(\mathrm{~s})) and (\mathrm{SrZrO}_{3}(\mathrm{~s})) have been calculated: (-(1762.9 \pm 3.7) \mathrm{kJ} \cdot \mathrm{mol}^{-1}) and (-(1763.5 \pm 3.3) \mathrm{kJ} \cdot \mathrm{mol}^{-1}), respectively.
