โฆ Synopsis
The impulse response due to a rigid-elastic coupling of two half-planes is considered. Scattered and surface waves under heavy fluid loading limits are calculated. It is found that the signljicant contribution to the3eld comes from the surface wave, which travels along the elastic plate, and the edge scattered wave. The physical interpretation of the results is also discussed.
