โœฆ Synopsis

He received his doctorate at the University of Rome in 1982, specializing in molecular genetics and multivariate data analysis. Since then his research has focused on the quantitative description of diverse biological phenomena, ranging from physiology to molecular dynamics. Joseph P. Zbilut is with the Molecular Biophysics and Physiology Department of Rush Medical College in Chicago. He did some of the early human heart rate variability studies using correlation dimensions in the 1980s. Although cardiac studies using animal models suggested chaotic dynamics, questions regarding disparities between model and reality led him to consider alternate formulations and resulted in a theory of non-Lipschitz chaos. This culminated in his From Instability to Intelligence: Complexity and Predictability in Nonlinear Dynamics, 1997.

It is known that the stress generated in an elastic material depends on the temperature distribution if the temperature field is not uniform. In such cases, it is necessary to carry out an analysis using a model taking into account the thermoelastic characteristics. In an actual problem, it is not u

To investigate the unknown stereochemical course of the reaction catalyzed by the type-II isomerase, which interconverts isopentenyl diphosphate (IPP) and dimethylallyl diphosphate (DMAPP), a sample of [1,2-13 C 2 ]-IPP stereospecifically labelled with 2 H at C(2) was prepared by incubating a D 2 O
