✦ Synopsis

Communicated by B. Brosowski

A global existence and uniqueness theorem is presented for the problem of oscillations of von Karman plate in linearized potential subsonic #ow of gas. The energy conservation law and solutions uniform boundedness in time are established. We also prove the existence of stationary solutions and study their properties.

Non-linear phenomena in the vibration of a square plate subject to lateral forcing are studied. Starting from the dynamic analogue of the von KaΒ΄rmaΒ΄n partial differential equations that govern the motion of the plate, a system of second order non-linear ordinary differential equations are derived.

In recent years, many developing countries have intervened in foreign exchange markets to offset to some extent the effect on their economies of large capital flows. Often changes in reserve requirements were used to mitigate the impact of that intervention on domestic money supplies. Because reserv

We have performed N-body simulation on final accretion stage of terrestrial planets, including the effect of damping of eccentricity and inclination caused by tidal interaction with a remnant gas disk. As a result of runway and oligarchic accretion, about 20 Marssized protoplanets would be formed in

The use of per-0-alkylated as well as partially alkylated/acylated derivatives of a-, p-, and y-cyclodextrins as chiral stationary phases has opened many new applications to enantioselective gas chromatography. Chiral recognition is now independent of hydrogen bonding interactions and enantiomer sep
