✦ Synopsis

Two types of complex curves are discussed: I) those obtained for binary mixtures of substances reducing at similar potentials and 11) those corresponding to the two-electron consecutive processes: 0 -t Z -R and 0 $ 2 -+ R. A convenient procedure of curve fitting for the above two cares of complex normal pulse polarographic (NPP) curves is presented and applied for some two-electron consecutive electroreductions.

Calibration curves built up from normal pulse polarography limiting currents are discussed. The following basic assumption is made: labile metal macromolecule complexation, induced adsorption and reversible electrochemical reduction. The equations of Barker for normal pulse polarography have been applied to the study of the kinetics of Zn(II) reduction in NaN08. Results in good agreement with literature are obtained. Rhm16-011 applique les equations de Barker pour la polarographie normale a pulsations a la cinetique de la reduct
