✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The lower homologues in the series of the p‐nitrophenyl dialkylphosphinates have been prepared by the interaction of dialkylphosphinic chlorides and p‐nitrophenol in the presence of triethylamine. Physico‐chemical constants of the yellow phosphinates are recorded; an example of the infrared spectra is given.
