β¦ Synopsis
The possible effects of climatic change for the avifauna in the dunes, especially in the Netherlands, were analyzed with two different approaches. It is concluded that although there will be an influence on most species, only three or four species may be threatened, whereas two species may even benefit from the possible changes.

## Abstract The impact of future climate change on terrestrial ecosystem was projected by the atmosphericβvegetation interaction model (AVIM2) over China at four warmer levels of 1, 2, 3 and 4 Β°C. Future climate data were projected by regional climate model from the Hadley Centre under Special Repo
Attempts to assess the impact of a hypothetical climatic change on food production have relied on the use of statistical models which predict crop yields using various climatic variables. It is emphasized that the coefficients of these models are not universal constants, but rather statistical estim
The relation between climatic conditions and type of peatland ecosystem in the different climate zones in Europe is discussed. Special attention is given to the hydrology of raised bogs in the sub-oceanic region. Possible effects of climatic change on such raised bog systems are discussed in terms o
