Assessing the impact of a given human-induced climatic change, like a global warming brought about by carbon dioxide, involves balanced examination of the implications of the specific environmental change and the other implications of the assumptions which generate the COz in the first place. There

โฆ Synopsis
Attempts to assess the impact of a hypothetical climatic change on food production have relied on the use of statistical models which predict crop yields using various climatic variables. It is emphasized that the coefficients of these models are not universal constants, but rather statistical estimates subject to several sources of error. Thus, any statement regarding the estimated impact of climatic change on food production must be qualified appropriately.

This study assessed the impacts of potential climate change on maize yields in China, using the CERES-Maize model under rainfed and irrigated conditions, based on 35 maize modeling sites in eastern China that characterize the main maize regions. This article analyzes post-Kyoto climate change mitigation regimes and their impact on sustainable development. Wide range of post-Kyoto climate change mitigation architectures have different impact on different groups of countries, therefore sustainability assessment is performed for four main grou
