โฆ Synopsis
Dunng the photolysls of the enooperoxlde of 9.10-diphenylanthracene,two different reactlons are observed, dependmg on the u-radrntron wavelength: (I) Evcltatlon of the SI band causes a homolytlc cleavage of the peroxrde bridge wrth a quantum yield Qz = 0 08. (a) lrradlatlon of the Sz band leads to an sdlabatlc photocleavage of the endoperoxlde mto 9,10dlphenylanthracene and smglet molecular oxygen with a quantum yield Qt = 0 28. Both reactlon pathways confii the theor! of Keams and Khan concerning the photolysls of endoperovldes
