✦ Synopsis

There have been several recent papers on the influence of a fixed disordered background on the statistics of polymer solutions. A simple example is given to slow the methods involved by calculating the osmotic pressure within a vesicle which is crossed by polymer molecules of permanent orientation. This means that a free polymer solution experienced the fixed molecules as a permanent disordered background simple replica on the high concentration limit.

The problem is solved by a If u is a measure of the excluded volume, and w a measure of the fixed disorded molecules, the osmotic pressure is kT g + ;(u-w)c* -This is considered in the light of the possible localisation of polymers by the disorder which is a different limiting case. Reality presumably lies between these limits.

## Abstract The use of Moloney murine leukaemia virus (MoMLV) derived retroviral vectors in gene therapy requires the production of high titer preparations. However, obtaining high titers of infective MoMLV retroviral vectors is difficult due to the vector inherent instability. In this work the eff
