โฆ Synopsis
The use of numerical range concepts for assessing robust stability of multivariable feedback systems is investigated. The characterization of perturbations by their numerical range allows a more detailed description of their gains and phases and allows a robust stability theorem similar in structure to that of Postlethwaite et al. with the possibility of arbitrary large perturbations.

A sufficient condition for robust asymptotic stability of nonlinear constrained model predictive control (MPC) is derived with respect to plant/model mismatch. This work is an extension of a previous study on the unconstrained nonlinear MPC problem, and is based on nonlinear programming sensitivity
We present a numerical algorithm that is well suited for the study of biomolecular transport processes. In the algorithm a continuous Markov process is discretized as a jump process and the jump rates are derived from local solutions of the continuous system. Consequently, the algorithm has two adva
## Abstract The same factors that govern the stability of hydrophobic colloidal systems influence the behaviour of thin detergent films. The study of soap films can therefore clarify many of the problems relating to colloidal stability, and __vice versa__. The advantages and limitations of the soap
