## Abstract The reactions of 2‐diazo‐4,5,6,7‐tetrahydrobenzo[__b__]thiophene derivatives with dimeric adducts **__2a__** and **__2b__** gave the hydrazone derivatives **__3a__** and **__3b__**, respectively. The reactivity of the latter products towards various chemical reagents was studied in orde
