✦ Synopsis
Polarization curves for the anodic oxidation and cathodic reduction of Ni(OH), electrodes at constant current have been obtained, and also Tafel curves for the anodic process. A comparison is made between the electrochemical behaviour of freshly prepared and of recrystallized Ni(OH)2 layers, and the extent to which the differences may be correlated with structural charges in the solid phase is discussed.
