✦ Synopsis

The rotational spectrum of dimethylether- (\mathrm{D}{6}) in the first two excited torsional states between 40 and (100 \mathrm{GHz}) has been measured, and the rotational and quartic distortion constants for both states are given. The analysis of the internal rotation gives the potential parameters (V{3}) and (V_{12}^{\prime}) and the angles between the principal axes of inertia and the internal rotation axes. Also, the moment of inertia (I_{\alpha}) of the (\mathrm{CD}_{3})-group has been determined. (c) 1993 Academic Press. Inc.
