โฆ Synopsis
The mm-wave rotational spectrum of 2-chloroacrylonitrile, (\mathrm{H}{2} \mathrm{C}-\mathrm{CCICN}), was measured in the frequency region (160-350 \mathrm{GHz}) with a (\mathrm{mm})-wave BWO spectrometer. The spectrum is dominated by prominent oblate-type bands consisting of overlaps of low- (K{-1}{ }^{a} R) - and ({ }^{b} R)-type transitions. Extensive assignments and frequency measurements were made for the ground states of the two chlorine isotopic species and for the four lowest lying vibrational states in (\mathrm{H}{2} \mathrm{C}=\mathrm{C}^{33} \mathrm{ClCN}), associated with the (\nu{11}) and (\nu_{15} \mathrm{CC} \equiv \mathrm{N}) bending and (\nu_{10} \mathrm{CClC} \equiv \mathrm{N}) rocking motions. Accurate spectroscopic constants have been determined for all these states, and the (\mathrm{CC} \equiv \mathrm{N}) bending states are found to be less coupled than those in the parent acrylonitrile molecule. 1994 Academic Press, Inc

The pure rotational spectrum of the NO dimer, (14N16O)2, has been studied in the 225-400 GHz millimeter-wave region by means of direct absorption in a supersonic jet expansion. Previously, only 4 rotational transitions of (NO)2 had been measured in the microwave region. To these, we have added 66 ne
The ground state rotational spectrum of \(\mathrm{CHF}_{2} \mathrm{Cl}\) has been observed and analyzed in the frequency region \(70-1280 \mathrm{GHz}\). Transitions with values of \(J\) up to 80 have been observed and the centrifugal distortion analysis of the spectrum has been performed using both
