Dr. Terne read a communication from Mr. Williams, of Wilmington, in which the writer stated that he had tried the method proposed by Mr. Pemberton of determining phosphoric acid in fertilizer analysis, and found it entirely satisfactory. Dr. Terne also stated that the method had been used in his own laboratory with excellent results.
