The meta‐photocycloaddition of cyclopentene to anisole yields the hitherto unknown 1‐methoxy‐exo‐tetracyclo[6.3.0.0^2,11^.0^3,7^ ]undec‐9‐ene together with the endo‐isomer in the ratio 1: 9.3.
