After the events of The Shields of Vale, Josyf Jada and his team are summoned by the Emperor to the center of the world of Vale. The Cobalt Tower.
The news of Galdur Voids re-emergence deeply troubles the Emperor and he decrees it's time for the legendary heroes of the Quadra War, The Guardians of Vale, to once again rise up and protect the world.
The Land of the Laoch, sees our heroes once again split up and sent on missions to the Ring of Magi in the south, and the rolling verdant hills of Tyrnalaoch to the east. Once there the new Guardians will receive training and guidance from the most powerful Affinity users, and the most deadly of warriors that Vale has to offer.
But with hordes of the dead roaming the Land of the Laoch and sinister forces plotting in the shadows at the Ring of Magi, the Guardians of Vale will need to put their training and newfound allies to the test and try to stem the tide of corruption that is sweeping over the world of Vale.
