β¦ Synopsis
The problem of the diffusion of particles, generated by an external source, in the presence of absorbing traps and subsequent decay kinetics after switching off the source was studied. The exact relationship between this process and kinetics of decay at random distribution has been obtained. The exact solution for the one-dimensional case was found. We performed a Monte Carlo simulation on a two-dimensional square lattice.

## Abstract The RudermanβKittelβKasuyaβYosida (RKKY) interaction has been extended to the case when an external magnetic field is taken into account. It has been shown that the RKKY Hamiltonian should contain the Zeemanβlike term in which the effective gyromagnetic factor occurs. This effective gyr
## Abstract The thermoelectric power of nβtype indium antimonide is measured as a function of magnetic field up to 20 kOe. Saturation of the thermoelectric power is observed at high fields. The dependence of the electronic effective mass on the carrier concentration is derived from this experimenta
