In this article, the steady-state flow of a Hagen-Poiseuille model in a circular pipe is considered and entropy generation due to fluid friction and heat transfer is examined. Because of variation in fluid viscosity, the entropy generation in the flow varies. In this model, Arrhenius law is applied

โฆ Synopsis
An analytical solution for the flow of a third grade fluid in a pipe is obtained using homotopy analysis method (HAM). The fluid considered is with variable space dependence viscosity. The temperature of the pipe is taken to be higher than the temperature of the fluid. Expressions for velocity and temperature profiles are constructed analytically and explained with the help of graphs.
