In this paper, ultrasonic surface finishing has been introduced to the electro-discharge machined (EDMed) Al 2 O 3 /TiC/Mo/Ni ceramic composite. Thermal shock behavior of the EDMed and the modified ceramic specimens was investigated by water quench tests. Statistical analysis was used to evaluate th
