Abstract

Five species of the genus Mesocyclops from various waterbodies of Uzbekistan are described. Some data on the variability and distribution of these species are given. The synonym of M. aequatorialis similis van de Velde and M. thermocyclopoides acutus Dussart et Fernando is proposed. A key to females of Mesocyclops species occuring in Uzbekistan is presented.
