up to a maximum Β£3,000 per annum, is to be offered to appropriately qualified candidates who conform to the following regulations and who are judged by the Council of the Forensic Science Society, through the Professional Awards Committee, to be worthy of such a scholarship.
- The Scholarship is open to members of the Society who wish to undertake research in forensic science, legal medicine, or crime investigation based on scientific methods. Candidates should have a first or upper second class honours degree or an equivalent qualification in terms of certification. However, relevant experience and expertise based on extensive practice may also qualify an applicant for consideration for the award.
