โœฆ Synopsis

An amino-substituted isoflavone was isolated from the root bark of Piscidia erythrina. The structure was established as 4'-amino-5,7,3'-trihydroxy-5'-methoxy-2',6'bis(3,3-dimethylallyl)isoflavone by spectroscopic and chemical methods.

Three major isoflavonoid groups (rotenoids, isoflavones and coumaronochromones)
