โฆ Synopsis
The Hamiltonian of a biexciton in a two-dimensional quantum dot with parabolic confinement has been diagonalized to obtain the low-lying eigenenergy values as a function of the electron-to-hole effective mass ratio and the dot size. Using the present result, a series of magic angular momenta of the biexciton dots have been discovered. Theoretical explanations derived from first principles have been formulated.

Motivated by an experiment of Sivan et al. and by subsequent theoretical work on localization in Fock space, a hierarchical model is studied numerically for a finite many-body system of fermions moving in a disordered potential and coupled by a two-body interaction. Attention is focussed on the low-
Dispersed fluorescence studies on the 6 -X 6 and 6 -X 6 systems of the FeF radical have resulted in the observation of vibrational progressions for transitions to the X 6 state as well as at least two previously unobserved electronic states about 5000 cm -1 above the ground state. The states are ass

We report properties of the exact low-lying states of phenanthrene, its anion and dianion within the Pariser-Parr-Pople (PPP) model. The experimentally known singlet states of the neutral molecule are well reproduced by the model. The intensities for one and two photon absorption to various singlet
