Abstract

The essential oils of Salvia brachyodon (samples A and B), collected from Montenegro, were analysed by GC–MS. Fifty‐four constituents were identified. The oil was characterized by a high content of oxygenated monoterpenes. The major constituents were 1,8‐cineole (23.0–17.2%), bornyl acetate (9.8–10.5%) and β‐pinene (8.8–9.4%).
